The National Cable Television Center & Museum, Denver, Colorado
A site-responsive sculpture for the exterior of the Cable Center.
Commissioned for the National Cable Television Center and Museum, this entrance sculpture was inspired by the futuristic technology of the Cable and Broadband industry. This abstract design was inspired by “earth stations”, the giant satellite dish uplinks for international Cable system.
A landmark feature for the entrance to the Cable Center, this 24’ tall sculpture is made of aluminum and fiberglass. With referential forms and a futuristic attitude, the sculpture pays homage to the remarkable technology while celebrating its formal abstraction.
